Portal Update

We will roll out ServiceNow portal updates on Thursday, March 23rd.
What’s changing?
- We will introduce a splash page to encourage users to log in before interacting with the portal.
- We have refreshed the Help portal homepage, and Browse our Services page to align with University and ITS branding.
What’s not changing?
- We are calling this a refresh. For now, we have not changed the underlying functionality or interfaces.
Why are we making these changes?
- Introducing the splash page may seem like we’re adding a layer of complexity to the site, but users receive a better experience if they have authenticated.
- They can view all catalog items and help articles available based on their affiliation.
- They also receive an improved chat experience when ServiceDesk staff can identify their affiliation, status, and history at the beginning of a conversation.
